Hanwell Town began pre-season this afternoon. Taking on Egham Town, at Alec Reed Academy. Giving both managers an initial look at their squad. As the new league campaigns draw ever closer.

Which was scuppered on half way. Getting further up the field. Hanwell Town applied pressure to their opposition. Passing effectively, as they created space in the final third. Leading to assertive challenges by the Sarnies back line. Who looked relax under pressure of the attacks. Time and time again. On the front foot, Hanwell utilised wide options. Advancing at pace, to the surprise of the fullback. Who was beaten by tricky footwork as the forward flew past him. Yet to find a breakthrough. Trying again, the Geordies were once more in the driving seat. As a new look side began to grow into the game. Testing the Egham shot stopper repeatedly. Coming to the rescue.
