After an embarrassing London Senior Cup exit to Cockfosters. Harrow Borough were back in cup action. This time taking on Corinthian casuals, in the FA trophy. The fixture being played at Earlsmead Stadium. Despite the Middlesex based outfit being classed as the away side. Due to the Casuals home facility being unavailable.

Kicking off this afternoon’s affair was Harrow Borough. However, it was their counterparts who created the first chance. Finding space down the left-hand side they delivered a handful of crosses. Giving back up keeper Charlie Taylor touches of the ball in early exchanges. At the other end, George Moore made an amazing darting run. Dashing towards the box at incredible speeds. Despite only just returning from injury. Winning a free kick for his efforts, which set up the first goal of the game. Proceeding the set piece Billy Leonard latched on to possession. Plucking his shot past the keeper, leaving him stunned. Having hit it from distance. Not long later, Harrow had the ball in the net again. This time being ruled offside. Regardless of the fact that player was clearly on. An error at the back allowed Corinthians to equalise. Making the most out of a dead ball, they piled on pressure, putting the ball into the net. Seidou Sanogo the scorer.

Getting the second half underway was back and forth football. Harrow slightly edging the affair, as George Moore had a flurry of flung efforts at goal. Which he saw blocked by the visitors back line. Shortly followed by being dragged down by a towering defender. Keeping up his positive play, the reds wonderful winger sent a shot wayward. Travelling team’s keeper remaining unfazed by the chance. Corinthian Casuals found themselves ahead following this, capitalising on a Harrow capitulation. Creating problems, the Southern league club couldn’t clear their lines. Time and time again handing play to their opposition, who made the most with the opportunities. Deserving to be ahead in this game. Battling brilliantly Brosnan built up play with a solo run. Brining life to subdued supporters, inside their own stadium, Slotting his finish away in the far corner of the goal. Ending the affair in normal time. Leaving spot kicks to decide the outcome of this tie.

Stepping up first was Harrow Borough, Ahmet Billar opening proceedings for the penalty shoot-out. Seeing his shot saved. Whereas Corinthian Casuals converted from twelve yards, on their first kick. Coming off the post before going into the back of the net. Levelling the score Leonard smashed it in. Before the guest got their first miss of the nerve-racking roundup to this afternoon match up. Putting the Borough back in front, Bryan picked a corner, plumping away his penalty. Setting up a harrow win today and progression into the net round.
