Shaq on track!

After back-to-back wins. Harrow Borough were on the road again. Making the long journey down to Dorset, taking on Dorchester town. Following the fixture being rearranged due to the sad passing of her majesty.

Starting this afternoon’s affair was an early injury to club legend Shaun Preddie. Having to be substituted on five minutes. Being replaced by recent signing Jaeden Sharman. Shortly followed by the opening opportunity, which went the host way. Caught comfortably by travelling shot stopper Jacob Knightsbridge. Up the other end, the borough barged forward. Kai Brosnan letting a low effort fly into the opposition keepers’ hands. Taking the lead, it was Kai Brosnan who broke the deadlock, when he tapped in from close range. Assisted by James Ewington. Who would go on to put the ball in the net next. Being ruled for offside by the linesman who began to cheer. Getting into the final third once more, Ewington smacked a shot towards goal. Narrowly missing the target. Continued by a creative passage of play by the visitors. However, it was the home team that would next hit the target. Reacting well they raced down the pitch. Picking out an equaliser. Before Jo Lawal scuffed a chance, late in the first half.

Getting the second period underway. Harrow heaped pressure on their counterparts. A ball across the box, unable to see a finishing touch from Ewington. The striker visibly upset with his chance. An excellent cross from wide was sent in by Jo Lawal as the came drew on. Met by Isiah Noel Williams, whose initial effort hit the keeper, before a rebound rounded off the move. Increasing the margin to two goals to one. A half volley very unlucky to not find the goal at the first time of asking. Brilliantly batting the ball across the field, Kai Brosnan beat the back line, bobbling into Ahmet Biller’s path. Unable to make anything from the opportunity. On the attack again Isiah Noel Williams sent a shot wayward. Making a strong save, Jacob Knightsbridge knew what to do when faced with a shot. Tipping the effort around the box. Levelling for a second time. Dorchester had scored. A questionable spot kick converted. Instantly followed by this afternoon’s winner. Shaquille squaring his shot into the back of the net.
