Monday night mess...

Monday night football saw Harrow Borough visit Bracknell Town. The Borough making the trip, having come of a poor performance against Winchester City. Whilst the host return across the border. Picked up three points on their trip to Penydarren Park.

Starting sharply. The host had an early lead. Scoring on three minutes. A cross field pass creating space, for a low conversion into the net. Reacting remarkably. Harrow had levelled the score five minutes later. Montel brown finding the back of the net, finishing into the topper corner. Breakthrough building up the play for the goal. Coming close to taking the lead again. The host had narrowly allowed an attempt over the bar. Wide movement making gaps, parting the borough back line. Up the other end, George Moore made a darting run, delivering the ball to Ewington. Who could only put it over the keeper. Getting forward again, a throw in saw harrow on the hunt. Once more landing to Ewington. This time hitting the woodwork. A brief break gave both teams a rest. Controlling a free kick, Bracknell we’re back ahead. George knight knocking a free shot to Dan Baylis. Finishing fabulously on thirty-five minutes. Hitting the crossbar, harrow edged ever closer.

Getting the second half underway in flying form. Bracknell returned from the break all guns blazing. Having the first shot of the period, working Knightsbridge low in his goal. Shortly followed by the visitors first chance. Headers keeping the ball in the air, preventing boroughs passing patterns. Diagonally switching the play, the guest got into the final third. George Moore unable to make a move. Defenders diving in from all angles. Powerful pass going to waste. Tapping in a third. Adam Richards headed home against his former club, scoring on fifty-three minutes. Free header handed as a gift, having been left unmarked. Searching for a second. Harrow borough had a corner, which came out to find the feet of Michael Bryan. Sending Billy learned left to cross into the box. A last-ditch challenge gave the visitors a free kick. Coming to nothing. Charging out of his area, Jacob Knightsbridge knocked away danger, despite the risk it may cause. Jumping up to head away the ball. Trying again, Bracknell were back in the driving seat. Roaming round the area. The advancing attacker had a simple shot to make, but put his effort inch’s wide. Finding a fourth before the full-time whistle. The home side scored from the spot.
