Impressive R's go down to Professional players!

This Sunday Queens Park Rangers hosted Arsenal Women academy at Hanwell Town football club. The sides meeting in a capital cup fixture, set up after the R’s easy victory over Enfield Town. Which took place at Harlington sports ground. The visitors convincingly beating Sutton United.

Starting this afternoon’s affair. The host began the better. Having the opening opportunity, with a passage of play towards the box. But unable to break into the box. Before a quick reaction from the guest got a chance. Coming down the right-hand side. Searching for a cross. Putting pressure on the home side, who saw out back-to-back efforts. Back in the middle of the pitch. The R’s played their way out of trouble. Neither able to take an attempt on target. Shortly followed by a QPR header, heading over the bar. Tipped over by the keeper. Creating a cheer in the stands. Weaving a run. Nicole leys ran riot around the opposition, ending up in the danger zone, time and time again. Skilly fully slotting past the professional performance. Setting up Melanie Hall. Managing to get efforts away. Testing the keeper. As we approached the break, Arsenal took the lead. Finishing from close range.

Getting the second half underway. It was the R’s who started superbly. The first chance created, coming out for a corner. Being put behind by an Arsenal defender. A cross giving the gunners a second. The proceeding plays seeing similar fate. Skying an attempt, QPR came into the final third. Taking their shot over the bar. Before a period of closely contested football took the tie to its ending. However, the guest got a third, scoring just before full time.
