Coming home for cardiff!

South Wales’ brilliant Bluebirds brought themselves and a handful of fantastic fans to West London on Wednesday evening. Taking on Queens Park Rangers. Under heavy speculation of an outgoing gaffer, as Wolverhampton Wanderers work their way into Mick Beales thoughts.

Starting this evening’s affair. An early opportunity opened up for the visitors. Cardiff City coming close, Nkounkou seeing his shot skied from long range. Up the other end QPR counter attacked. Unable to properly punch away a shot, Allsop handed his host a chance. Chair couldn’t find the target from close range on five minutes. Edging ever closer Ilias had another go. Linking up with Laird the pair picked space on the right-hand side. Firing wide on the tenth minute. A third chance came calling when Chair connected with a free kick. Clever catch from Allsop averting danger. For the fourth time, Chair took a shot. This time letting one fly from long range. Shortly followed by a spot kick for the home side on eighteen minutes. Simpson struggling to defend, tripping Armstrong, earning himself a red card. Comfortably put into the bottom corner by Lyndon Dykes. Hitting the woodwork, the host could have increased the margin. Lyndon Dykes disappointed with his effort after connecting with Chair’s cross. Doubling the lead, Lyndon Dykes made the difference more. Scoring on thirty-three minutes. As the teams approached the break QPR nearly tapped in a third. Narrowly missing the target at the near post.

Getting the second half underway. Lydon Dykes was still searching for his third goal. Having a go at goal, from the edge of the box. Moments before Tim was denied by Allsop in the Cardiff City goal. Heading it on target, Dykes darted forward. Inches away from scoring following impressive play on sixty-seven minutes. Picking up another goal. Kenneth Paal scored on seventy-four minutes. Sam Field finding the defender, a diagonal ball into the back post. Headed over the keeper and into the back of the net.
