Buy a bye...

Harrow Borough’s FA Cup adventure started with a trip to Bottom Meadow. Taking on Bracknell Town, at the SB stadium. Having lost here on their league visit. Only nineteen days ago. Going down by four goals to one, after a second half domination. Former red Adam Richards heading home against his old friends.

Kicking off this afternoon’s affair was a corner for the host. Batted away by the Borough back line, having been put into the box. Taking the lead Bracknell town had an early goal. Scoring to the right of Knightsbridge. Shot from inside the area, cook the scorer, four minutes in. The guest got their first opportunity from a corner. Aimed at Ewington, who could not apply a finishing touch. Putting in another set piece. Billy Leonard let the ball go into the box high. Ambitiously using an acrobatic movement, George Moore made the most out of a horrible situation. Caught by the keeper comfortably as it landed in his hands. Trying his luck from a free kick. Harrow had a free kick, curling into the edge of the area. The outcome awkwardly coming as Imran Uche wondered forward for a wayward shot. Wide of the post. Breaking away at brilliant speed, the visitors ventured ahead, ending up with a goal kick. Despite being fouled a few times George Moore managed to stay on his feet. Hard hitting Bracknell bemused by the winger’s honesty, unlike their money grabbing misfits. Getting a shot away when he smashed the post. Catching their opponents off guard Ewington edged ever nearer. Long ball launched up the field, resulting in a corner. Also seeing his attempt go wide shortly after. George Moore was at it again. This time failing to find space for a finish at the near post, from inches away. Confusion in the centre of the pitch cut out Harrow’s next chance. Shortly followed by a second for the home side. Sliding a shot into the back of the net, after a low cross came into the six-yard box. Sharman to blame for switching off a second time this period. Richards rounding off a robbery on forty-four minutes.

Getting the second half underway. Isiah Noel Williams intelligently adapted his body, blocking impressively. Twisting and turning around the passage of play to prevent a shot. Only to see his efforts wasted, when a rebound fell back into the busy Borough box. Initially kept out by Knightsbridge. Before a gifted goal was given to the host. A penalty the excuse this time, as the referee sent of the on-loan West Ham shot stopper. Allowing substitute keeper Charlie Taylor to make his first competitive appearance. Unfortunate not to keep it out, the Panama player went the right direction. Lodge locating a gap on fifty minutes. Finding time for a fourth Bracknell were back celebrating. Richards doubling his tally, whilst his team tried to see out the game. Pulling a goal back. James Ewington got on the end of a George Moore cross. The winger running riot as he roamed around the area, leaving players grounded, flying past the fragile opposite numbers. Dominating and dictating the direction of play. A strong sliding challenge up the other end gave away a corner. Quick feet from fullback Ahmet Billar, bringing the tricky winger towards the touchline. Letting a shot fly from distance Uche looked for a second. Going wide over the bar, before he walked back into the centre circle. Not long later the centre back had to be taken on temporality. A horrible hacking challenge having brought him down. Returning after the proceeding set piece was taken. Diabolically diagonally darting a pass, Bracknell baffled supporters, allowing a laugh before the final attack.
