Hanwell Town started brightly. Earning themselves a corner soon after kick off. Halim Bangura making an early charge towards goal, sending Jayden David through. When Burnham regained possession, they had a chance of their own. The wide player putting a ball across the Geordies box, which was shot directly into the hands of Olaf Normantowicz. A mistake at the back handed the host another opportunity to score. Burnham’s high pressing midfielder latched on to a misplaced pass which he sent wide of the goal. To the relief of the young Geordies. Going forward, a long ball found Sonny West out wide. Playing a one two with Cameron Hughes he opened up space in front of him. Seeing his shot blocked firmly by the host defender. Coming close again Burnham found space in the Hanwell box. This time putting their effect just wide of the post from six yards out. Having a second chance instantly after the player received a pass from his full back. This time firing into the keepers’ hands. Keeping up the momentum a third attempt followed. Forcing Olaf to push the ball away, falling to a Burnham players foot. Missing the goal from close range. Looking to bring Hanwell back into the game Sonny West picked up the ball on half way. Driving forward he found a supporting run made by Jayden Davies; however, the forward was unable to control the ball as it rolled out for a goal kick. Staying motivated Sonny West was in possession again, this time sending a cross in from the right-hand side. Burnham’s next opportunity came from a corner. Initially, the ball was punched out. However, a player inside the box was in the right spot for a second chance. Sending the quickly taken shot high and over the crossbar. Dominating the remainder of the half, Hanwell were on the front foot. Breaking the deadlock from a Corner. A simple tap in in a crowded box was all it took to give the Geordies a lead. Trying to increase their lead Hanwell went forward through Romi Roomi. Whipping the ball into Jayden, who was brought down inside the box after beating the Burnham defender with skill. Maintaining possession in the final third Hanwell were able to double their lead. Sonny West received a pass out wide and proceeded to cut into the box, allowing him to score with a cross goal shot. The final action before the teams went into half time.

After the break had finished Burnham resumed play. Winning a corner from kick off after a long ball found its way to an advancing player in the box. Who sent his cross right into a Hanwell defender before rolling off the pitch. Clearing their lines from the corner, Hanwell managed to keep the home side out. However, a second chance fell to the Burnham player before he sent a shot over the bar. Increasing the lead once more Hanwell added a third goal through Jayden Davies. Finishing with his right foot into the bottom left-hand corner of the goal. After making contact with a crossed ball into the box. Romi Roomi then saw his effort from distance pushed away by the home keeper, leading to a visitor’s corner. Hanwell went on to deliver that corner with excellence, as it found a player in the box. A simple finish giving the guest a fourth goal. Despite a large margin between the sides Hanwell Town carried on with the same determination that they started with. Seeing an effort bounce of the box after being curled from distance. Making his way off the pitch after a fantastic performance Jayden Davies was subbed off, swapping with the on coming Jenom Nyam. Also coming off before full time was Kay Zini. Being replaced by Mohamed Daffah, who would go on to add a fifth goal of the night. Scoring from the centre of the box following a cross.
