Brilliant Billy Leonard!

Harrow Borough were back in action Monday evening. Heading down the road to Beaconsfield Town, shortly after their victory against North Leigh. When the sides last met at the venue. Beaconsfield were convincing winners. Dispatching their opponents in an embarrassing manner.

Starting the fixture incredibly. The host had a great chance, cleared off the line, caught by the travelling keeper. A second attempt followed. Finding its way wide. Coming close again, Beaconsfield were able to send in a cross. Block by the Borough back line. Having their first chance, Harrow worked wonderfully to get into the final third. Brilliant Billy Leonard leading the attack. Unable to make it count. Trying again, Jo Lawal controlling the front line. Offside the call from the official. Proceeding their period of dominant play, Ewington engaged in a close battle with the opposition keeper. Who kept the score level with a low dive into feet. Bringing the passage of play further. Billy Leonard lunged into a risky shot, deep in the area, narrowly missing. However, it was the home side who broke the deadlock. An acrobatic attempt giving them a goal. Picking out the bottom corner, injuring himself in the process. Requiring a substitution. Proving to be the turning point before the break. Levelling the score with not much time, Billy Leonard bagged his third goal in as many games. Shocking spectators inside the stadium as the keeper stood still.

Restarting play following the half time break. Billy Leonard was back dominating the day, putting the visitors in front. As he doubled his tally tonight with a finish from close range. Slotting away simply after locating a spot. Back-to-back chances came for the guest. Ewington’s initially effort wide following contact, continued with a second going wide without. Finding his feet tangled, Jo Lawal was not able to leave a mark on the edge of the box. Laying off to Ahmet Biller. As he did again not long later. This time setting up a delivery which drove through the box. Coming out at the other end Kai Brosnan was able to try for himself. Neither having a finishing touch applied. Completing his hattrick before full time. Billy Leonard stepped up for a spot kick. Converting coolly past the keeper. Sealing the visitors second win on the bounce. Dorchester Town awaits, as eyes are set on another maximum points.
