Going around the post and out for a goal kick. Awakening to the adversities, arsenal became aware of their opposite numbers game plan. Attacking themselves with trickery taking them into the final third. Before a brutally timed tackle stopped the play. On twenty-minute minutes, the home side had the first goal of the game. As time approached the break, all attacks were arsenal, almost giving the gunners a third and a fourth. Low driven deliveries too quick for contact.

Getting the second half underway. An instant opportunity arose for the host. Heading into the area, the initial effort was saved. Before the ball came back out for the second to see the same outcome. Skying a shot, arsenal replied remarkably well. Working their way up the field for an attack. Bemusing fans who thought they’d double their lead. Making another mistake, the as Monaco keeper was caught out once more. This time opting to boot it away before anything could happen. Finally finding the net for their second. Jack Henry Francis scored for the home side. Attacking from a throw, in an advanced position. Tapping in simply. Tempting fate, a third should have come for the host. Corner into the area, averted by the centre back, bumbling the ball away. Pulling one back against the run of play. As Monaco made a perfect pass. Plopping the ball into the path of a teammate, who took it onto the six-yard box. Putting it in the back of the net as the time hit seventy-seven minutes. No longer later followed by a magnificent miss. Which should have given the game an equaliser. Ending up in the car park, for a fan to take the match ball back home.
